Ich finde den Song einfach nur geil und passend für die aktuelle kleine und große Nachrichtenlage. Die bad brains kenne ich seit meiner Oberstufenzeit. - Hey, Gerold, Dominik, Engel, ... - gibt's die eigentlich noch?
Ich suche und entdecke ja immer wieder gern, was ich fraktale, also irgendwie zwischendimensionale, Ähnlichkeiten nenne. Der Song erinnert mich in gewisser Weise sogar an Smetanas Moldau, weil er sich in seinem Tempo und in seinen Stimmungen entwickelt und so irgendwie den Strom des Lebens darstellt. Den Text habe ich bei diesem Gefühl gar nicht so parat. Es ist eher die gefühlte Stimmung.
Jup, die gibts zwar noch, machen aber keinen großen Aufriss mehr. Originalbestzung besteht auch nicht mehr. Schau mal nach diesen Bands "Zion Train, HR , 101 oder Soul Brains" , das sind Bandnamen die sie auch noch benutzt haben
Ganz großes Kino Charles! Danke. Toller Song. Die Bad Brains waren wegweisend, für den Hardcore, 1977 gegründet waren sie mit einer der ersten HC Bands und vorallem für den Crossover. Und Crossover mit dem Haupteinfluß Hardcore und Reggae gab und gibt es bis heute wenig. In den 90er Jahren waren sie auch in Indie und Alternative Kreisen ein Thema.
Was Engel sagt stimmt wohl, von ausgedehnten Touren habe ich ewig nichts mehr gelesen.
